I think he will spur lending and growth and redevelopment in many areas under served and in a world of hurt. Right now single family other than the high end catering to 1% has very low inventory levels in most of the country with new construction in most submarkets lagging.. Talking a couple of months max which should lead to continued appreciation in prices. Obviously certain markets along the coasts like Silly Valley are ridiculous and very sensitive to a couple percent upward move in interest rates. We also have a little talked about building boom for the ages in high end condos and apartments in most of our major cities that will create problems. I read where the Manhattan skyline expected to be double what it was fifteen years ago once all the projects in the pipeline get built
