I painted a broad brush with the millennials. However, my kids are millennials and they have good heads on their shoulders, but I interact a lot with their friends and I'll tell you that most of them are hyper liberal. They are all good kids, but they haven't got a clue as to how the real world works. I think my generation coddled their kids, told them they could be anything even if they don't work for it, and gave them trophies for being in last place. So it's no surprise they are the way they are. Then they got double screwed by the economic crash in 2008 and many are severely underemployed. They are the screwed generation. Many will grow up and overcome their challenges. Many more will retreat to their safe spaces and play with playdo and legos while thinking of kittens and rainbows and blaming the big, bad outside world for not being fair. My kids will be in the former category, because they've had a father who always held them accountable and never let them fall into this victim mentality bullshit that the snowflakes and BLM crowd like to suffuse themselves with.

It's a tough world and only the hard competitors will do well. The US needs to toughen up and get ready to fight the new economic wars that China and other countries are already waging, while we dither and experiment with Socialism.
