This is a time for insurance and defensiveness. Gold and silver are near their normal bottom. Putting a portion of your money into physical makes a lot of sense to me. The future is unpredictable and not bright.

Remember the cardinal rule of speculation: "you cannot quantify it".

When folks figure it out and the stock market rolls over, I shall be buying inverse ETFs on the Russell 2000, as most of the stocks in that index won't even get a bid. Gold, on the other hand, can be a cruel mistress.

Even if Hillary had been elected a bear market after this huge run wouldn't have been a shocker.

I don't agree with your end of days scenario. Trump isn't going to like being President. We survived Dubya, We'll survive this idiot too, but there will be a lot of pain along the way.
