I still feel very pasionate about IRIX. the grim future in my life, is that A/W's Maya and other IRIX native apps being ported to NT are visably being dumbed down to be compatable. no ipc, no unix facilities more than fopen, no pipes... all the cool things i waited for for years have been tossed to the least common denominator. development has stabilized, and the future is mundane.
