<I'm fresh out of explanations > It is especially surprising that for days the dollar volume has been half of what would be considered light pre-split dollar volume. The lack of price volatility is no doubt related. Downward pressure probably comes from some "share-halving" after the split, as well as momo's leaving after realizing they'd been had once again by Cabot and the Comdex pop. Some nervous longs have probably bailed on the bounce to 26, and many more are planning to once they reach breakeven, a negative psychology that makes it very hard for IOM to rise. It hasn't risen on good news or good rumors in a while, but falls at the slightest bad news. The old, pre-Comdex IOM is back. The thing we know for sure is IOM will rise when we least expect it, Rocky sells, or I sell, whichever comes first. <g> Pssst Rocky: Sell, for gossakes!

Channel Check: Garden City NY (Long Island) CompUSA Regular Zip 100 PP selling nicely, the stack is about half what is was the day after Christmas. Saw plenty of people at the registers holding Zip Drives and Disks. All the Macs had Zip standard as weel as all the Sony's....one Compaq. No Sparq to be found....sold out of Jaz drives as far as I could tell....it was a mob today. Many, many Zip+s......you know those nice high margin drives that cost about $20 more for IOM to produce(my guess) and sell for double the price:))))))of the regular Zip 100 PP....they also seem to be selling well ....half left from Dec26th inventory. Sold out of internals....there were many last week. Plenty of laptop zips have sold as I could only find 4 in stock and last week there were about 20. Disks seem to have been restocked...there were more on the shelf than last week. All in all a good visit. Would love to get an announcement of Jaz2 and Buzz shipping along with earnings news.... Also, 3pack of Jaz disks $299=$99.00/disk the media cost is coming down. IOM is selling everything they can produce. The guy from Sony who was demonstrating their new line said ...."pretty soon all PCs will come with Zip standard....we just wanted to be 1st." (punctuation within quotation...Truff.) Long term holder.....looking at picking up som May 17.5s....I just can't help but think we will have a major breakout soon....New 52 week high AFTER Feb option expiration!!! Good Luck to all, Frank
