Hi Hal,

Personally, I will have to wait for higher VVUS prices before I jump back in and CC since I'm at a much higher net cost basis. I'm waiting for the comeback and the short squeeze that will eventually have to hit big time IF VVUS IS ABLE TO MOVE INTO the new factory, open in time to start production, and obtain FDA approval without delays. VVUS is listed as having the 18th largest short interest at this point in time!

For those on the sidelines, bringing fresh cash into VVUS at the current bargain basement price of $11.50 can pull in anywhere from 25% to 40% between CCing and capital appreciation in a month or two. Earning release is now set for Monday, Jan. 19, 1998. There are risk and there are rewards for those who can tell the difference!

I don't know about writing Jun 7.5's, but if anyone bought VVUS at $10 I see a great opportunity on the Jan 10's:

If anyone has just recently bought into VVUS and has a net cost near $10, they can write the Jan 10 call and lower their net to $8 3/8, which gives them a 16% gain in a couple of weeks if they're called at $10, which seems likely.

Doug.

(Check out the possibilities for anyone who bought into CREAF near it's recent low at $15!!!
