Jack, Even though I only agree partially with what you posted, I like your post better than the posts that only listed out a long list of references from some experts. You have presented your thought in a logical manner and with good reasoning. I will post why I think, the Y2K problem in embedded systems if they exist, can only be fixed in house or by the designers of the systems. Mike.

P.S. Mike, why is it that B-Tree has no record or history of you working with them? The reason why I ask is because it calls into question your legitimacy. I for one am puzzled, since you claimed to have such an intimate knowledge of their systems. Sorry Jack, I cannot go into details since I have to divulge which company I work for. If they are in doubt, I will challenge them to come on this board and I will discuss in public everyone of their problems.
