Re --- the best buy for money now is a CPQ p233 for about $1299.

You can get a packard Bell with a similar configuration for $999. Dont touch those junk presarios. The deskpros are OK.

By the way, she'll take the computer at your price. 4824 is 233 PII 32 MB SRAM 6.5 GB HD 24X CD ROM 56K modem Arcade 3D graphics 512K IBPC 2MB SyncGraphics Memory @ $1699 Since my clunker cost me a lot more than that three years ago, I think it is one heck of a bargain. And I'll get a free test drive while prices come down, before I head to the New Computer Lot.

I am a big fan of yours. I got so sick of them brow beating you on the Dell board, I sold my Dell and bot CPQ. I have a better time following the posts on this board, and again, you are very informative.
