Staring, some comments on your/our/my stocks:

re PFXF. I don't have any of these preferred ETFs/funds. I sold all but one (WFCL) of my few preferreds this past week unless they had a yield near 8%. I look for interest rates to go up, preferreds to drop or go nowhere, and common stocks having a chance to increase with a better US stock market or business environment.

BABA. I don't see Trump significantly affecting the company. Their "singles day" was a big success. If US companies want to sell into China, BABA offers a way. If BABA Chinese companies want to export into USA, thus competing with USA manufacturers/retailers - that could hurt USA producers and maybe Trump admin would want to act. However, I'm a buyer of stuff from the BABA site (I don't know anybody else who is), and the product reviews don't seem loaded with comments from USA people. So I don't see an issue. I am considering adding to my BABA position (not a value stock).

WRLD. I added to my position on the drop from recent highs. This company gets and maybe deserves, bad press for its business practices and accounting practices. It's been in the sights of the Consumer Protection Agency (loaning money to people who can't afford it, and keeping them in the loan cycle) The company keeps reporting earnings though, and if this government agency is defanged with the Trump administration, WRLD will likely do better with less oversight and restrictions.

Why do you feel that inflation would be limited by interest expense?
