The reason you don't hear me talk about it is because I'm trained as a social scientist. I am trained to consider complexities that cause people to do what they do. And programs to make things better for people.

The African-American has been tortured for 400 years. For much of that time it was illegal to even teach them to read. First slaves and then segregated, and as recently as 1966, 17 states had it illegal for African-Americans and Caucasians to marry.

That is a level of barbarism that is incomprehensible and which left them injured. So they have not had a rich culture based in education to help them further themselves like the Asians have to help them get ahead. And they are still fighting the headwinds of racism and poverty, due to discrimination.

And scientific research has shown that programs like head start dramatically decrease crime and increase productivity. For every dollar we put into head start we get 30 back in increased production and reduction in crime. But the Republicans keep blocking affirmative action programs.

The African-American community deserves all the help they can get from our society for what we have done to them, to pull themselves up. They are the poorest people in the country and need some help for them to better themselves.

You never seem to consider cause and effect very well and you just look at a situation and simplistically rail against it..
