Al, Mike and Jim. When I started this thread, my goal was to study the behaviour of the 99ers under all conditions. What we got right off the bat was a mean correction and the 99ers took the heat badly. I don't think(no proof yet) that we have seen the last of them. Many of them, I expect, will resume their powerful uptrends when the rally begins. And there are signs that it could be soon. Also, as we watch the high fliers who are 99er wannabees, we can learn more; e.g., John Crouch's studies watching 87/87 stocks as they either become 99ers or falter in their attempt. 6 months from now, we will be in a better position to assess the behavior of the current and recent 99ers.
