Well, the Republicans had to defend many more seats in this election but they still held the Senate. In 2018 I think the Democrats are going to start CARING about the Mid Terms for a change. All those kids marching in the streets against Trump will probably start voting. A lot of monetary imbalances in the world right now and most analysts I read seem to think a recession is in our not too distant future. Trump will pump money into the economy and cut taxes and that could help for a while but I don't think it will last too long the way the rest of the world is going. You know Obama pumped almost a Trillion into the economy just after he was elected and that's kept us steady and growing at about 1-2% but nobody is that happy about it.
