This will be great for 1-2 day weather forecasting. One could take all the money wasted on "climate research" and direct it to researching output from Atlas 5 looking at day-to-day extreme weather events. Looking at paths of hurricanes, propagation patterns of squalls in hurricanes and cold-fronts, entrainment patterns in severe convective thunderstorms, etc. Lots of wonderful research can come out of this, and money would be well spent instead of blaming CO2 and getting us nowhere.
