Good question... Pro has lots of additional features including 3D, but the 3D doesn't work with the flight simulator which I found out today is normal... so, who knows... but I really like the flight simulator, so now I have it with the regular GE...

Okay, I did some tinkering around with the Pro GE and I found a way to get 3D in the flight simulator, but it's sort of a hack thing...

First, you go into the simulator...

Then, Control-Alt + B which will open the sidebar...

Click on the 3D buildings and terrain...

Then Control-Alt + B which will now close the sidebar...

And you're flying 3D...

Once you're out of the simulator, you would have to go back and repeat those steps to get 3D in the simulator again... a bit of a pain, but well worth it to enjoy a great 3D flight experience...

Sheeeeeeesh, what a guy won't do for a great flight simulator experience... LOL!!!
