Well, I'm surprised to read that you've found there to be a limited number of screening metrics !! There are 6 basic windows, 3 of them deal specifically with the 3 main Financial Statements, in great detail. The other 3 have a wide variety of parameters to choose from. There are Dozens of items in each of those windows ... And as I mentioned to E_K_S, if you use the data from ADVFN and the power of EXCEL to manipulate that data into ratios, or even to draw graphs, or to find companies that fit into the "Value Investing" mould. That's a powerful and Free means of analyzing virtually every company on the 3 main US stock exchanges, NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ, as well as the Canadian stock exchange. I'd be interested to know where else one can do that, simultaneously, with all those companies ?
