Let the group rotation begins. The internet stocks will be primed to be out of favor due to earnings concern. Look at Netscape today which lost over 5 points on heavy volume. NCSP is downgraded by Morgan Stanely:

Monday January 5, 9:49 am Eastern Time

RESEARCH ALERT - Netscape lowered

NEW YORK, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Discover said its analyst Mary Meeker lowered her rating on Netscape Communications Corp to outperform from strong buy.

-- The preliminary operating earnings estimate for 1997 went to $0.04 per share from $0.45, and for 1998 to $0.06 from $0.90.

-- Netscape said on Monday that it will miss fourth-quarter earnings and revenue forecasts.

-- Morgan in a research note said that Meeker likes Netscape's assets and market opportunity but adds that she considers this is a high-risk, high-reward investment.

Mutual fund managers will notice how precarious internet stocks are. Will AOL and YHOO be next to be downgraded? Good companies but way overpriced. You would not buy a Corolla for $ 65,000 when you can get a Lexus for that money?

Good Luck to all
