I didn't make myself clear again. I'll need to be more careful in describing what's in my minds eye. I was thinking about the professional people, both politicians and mainstream media that keep pleading with Trump about doing the right thing for the country e.g. Obama counseling him and James Stewart with his idea about a large stimulus package that will do something worthwhile for the country. Trump has no intention of listening to anyone, or of doing anything the left wants..

What I had in my minds eye was any of the big names rhetorically presenting to the nation and the world advice to Donald Trump to do the right thing, yada yada yada.

I think Michael Wolf this morning hit the nail right on the head. Trump and his minions are taking pleasure in horrifying us and intend to wipe this country clean of any vessel of liberal thinking and replace it with alt right thinking. Banyan has clearly made that the mission and Trump just put him as his primary strategist.

In a nutshell, I was simply trying to say that Trump and his minions are not going to pay one bit of attention to anything anybody says. They are going to come at us with everything they have with the intent of rendering us powerless and erasing all the vestiges of what we dems have accomplished. They will try to reverse everything Obama has accomplished.

This will be an onslaught that will be historic. And the exasperation that you see coming from me is that I am not seeing enough people reflecting this reality. Too many people are still not facing reality.

The perfect case in point this morning was watching Mika on morning Joe defend Bannon. And James Stewart advising Trump to spend the stimulus money on something great like building a big bridge.

Trump will spend the money first on the military and a wall.

this has always been the case. Nothing has ever been "solved" on the open sewers of SI, for example, where left and right meet and scream. And yet, some people still try to "reason". Y'know that definition of insanity?

Why would government be any different? If you look at any unmoderated thread on SI, that's politics in America now. Woohoo
