I see Kalahari mentioned as an alternative diamond stock that hasn't bounced much yet. Well, imho, anybody looking at KLA should take a boo at the insider trading;
exchange2000.com
......also at this guy's history (all the way back).... I mean, he's right up there with the William J. Trimbles of this world. There are lots, and I mean lots, of better alternatives than to have anything to do in any way with these people. Imho. Much is said back in this thread about WSP and the option dispute, but relatively speaking, Mr. Turner & Co. have bright white wings and halos. Imho.

George, when I was a kid, my father had an old prospector friend who played the market, knew lots, subscribed to the Northern Miner, and had quality connections. One time, he was telling my dad about Giant Mascot Mines being a good deal, and convinced the both of us. I took my entire life savings, about 500 bucks, and bought shares. Got a four-bagger fast, and that financed my first car. In a way, though, it was a bad thing, as I thought I knew something, and I went on to lose through the 70s. If I was starting out now, the advice that imho would be most useful would be;

1. Get on the internet.
2. Get a Stockwatch subscription www2.canada-stockwatch.com
3. Read quite a few SI threads, all the way through, comparing dated, archived investor sentiment with the Stockwatch charts.
4. Read every single word on every single page of Adrian du Plessis' site; imagen.net
5. Now go back and read those threads again, and compare with the charts again. Check insider history using Stockwatch, remember "Bet the jockey, and the horse too". There's lotsa horses, lotsa jockeys.
6. Think.
7. Don't spend the rent money.
8. Diversify - between industries and between stocks within those industries.
9. Think again. Think lots. And don't stop thinking.
10. Buy Winspear. Quick, before it gets away (hey, don't laugh... these are my 10 commandments).

.......... -g- ............... cheers ............... macros
