How does this happen when your family lived in the Wash of Linconshire since at least the 1500's?? When offspring walk 15 miles to the next parish to expand the family?! Well....they come in all families--adventurers who refuse to conform or stay home. They captain ships and stop here and there and things happen. :-) Speaking of changing mores...I guess you heard the news from the Pope today. A step forward, IMO...
