I do agree with your future tense, and am relieved you do not accept that their path is the superior one to the Son of God. It is all still free will choice. My point is that you often come to correct Christians, and seem to be one, but actually you have several viewpoints where the idea of diety is concerned, and I believe we should be open in what we espouse. Otherwise, everything gets very confused and know one knows where the conversations are going. I never came to Meta pretending to be anyone but a person who was curious as to what the person who started the thread had experienced that made him/her, stil don't know, hate God the Christian concept of same, only, just the Christian God. And with a strange and ugly vengence. This was curious to me, so I asked. That person now teaches a Course in Miracles which the net site proposes is a path to the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. Except that Jesus "created evil in His own mind", apparently the Course in Miracle people either admire or do not believe at all in the adversary Jesus speaks of with consistency--the devil, Lucifer or appolyon. It was a strange course to be taught by a person who is totally atheistic to begin with, or openly hates God in Heaven by his own words. Again, then brings up a course in the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ and is the teacher. I brought this up so it could be explained as I don't understand it. If this is debating religious matters, so be it. I think it is examining hypocrisy. Certainly we here like to examine Christian hypocricy of every tiny measure. And rightly so. The Lord seemed to hate it, and only hypocricy, above all other human traits He could have despised openly. Why can't we also examine an ice berg on the part of others, seeking to understand such thought and find truth in it? IMHO that is the purpose of metaphysical and spiritual thought. All of these things make little sense to me, so I just brought up the point that there are many mindsets conferring here, and it is often a curious mix, at best. But does it clear the issue or cloud it more?
