Not really, Paul Krugman is one of the five most referenced economists in the world. What that means is that of all of the 10's of thousands of economics teachers in the world, he is reference more than almost any other economist alive. Many of the top universities have hired him to teach and he also won the Nobel Prize. MIT, Harvard, Princton. Heavy weights.

I like Krugman because he explains how complicated economics is and how little we really know about it in its totality. He has a great example of that regarding trading baby sitting chits and how that got out of control at the front of one of his books.

I have read a couple of his books and consider him one of the great minds of the 20th century. He is a mentor of mine. Most of the top universities in the world agree with me.

And what he's talking about with regard to the if aliens came from outer space, was the concept of just basic stimulus (WWII brought us out of the great depressionb because it was a huge stimulus-I can explain it) and how it works in an economic system.

As a matter of fact we stimulated more than Europe did (both parties agreed) and we ended up in better shape than Europe. Although more would have been better. Although you would never know that to hear the conservatives.

If we had followed their path we would've gone into a depression.

And isn't it interesting that Republicans did everything in their power to prevent a larger stimulus package from Obama, but they are perfectly willing to deficit spend $1 or $2 trillion for Trump's infrastructure agend?

I find that hypocrisy very interesting.

Going a bit off topic, can we share a laugh at this clown?
