>>>"...and they STILL wouldn't listen to the "other"party on anything."<<<

The "other party" has made a point of not listening to anyone but the corrupt elite at the head of their own oligarchy. This has been decried but not attended to at the frustration of mainstream America. The "other party" believed they had a lock, frequently chortling as if to rub everyone's nose in it "hey, we won."

People generally see what they expect to experience as reality. You expected to continue but reality threw a perceptive wrench in that experience so you don't accept your experience as real. It is no surprise now to see people from the "other party' so disoriented that they are acting out in destructive ways. Have they listened? Are they listening now? You can't be listening and simultaneously complaining, protesting, shouting and crying. The "other party" needs to take a few moments to stop, listen, and consider whether or not the change that has occurred was needed, and why.
