Gee, koan, I read that post and it really touched me. I wanted to puke. "What history tells us is that the more sophisticated we get intellectually the kinder and more understanding we become. The more we are able to empathize and suppress venal primitive instincts." Could you tell me where history tells us this? How do you define intellectual sophistication? You obviously believe that you have obtained a high degree of intellectual sophistication. I am interested to hear you define it. Did you know that South Korea has a rapidly growing Christian population. and had it not been for the benefits of capitalism, Koreans would not have accomplished such outstanding economic prosperity? South Korea is a fascinating country.
