Alan, <THE PROMISE Thousands of years ago God promised the Jews (who are the only heirs of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) the large strip of land between the river of Egypt and the great Euphrates river. (See Ezekiel 47:13-23 for the borders of Israel during the millennial reign of Christ.) This promise was UNCONDITIONAL and was made to Abraham for ETERNITY: > The first five books of the Old Testament (pentateuch) never mentioned Jews. The promises were made to the Children of Israel. The first mention of Jews is found in the book of 2Kings (16:6). -Chris

Dear Alan and Nancy: Time has been lacking for me and I have been unable to join you in the factual information that you have so diligently presented to us Christians. I heartily compliment you on all of your posts and this post about the promises of God to the nation of Israel. It is frustrating to see all of your efforts at enlightenment to be so sabotaged by Emile and his confusing theorys. I want all to know that I support Alan unconditionally for his beliefs thus far. THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE AND FALSE TEACHING WHICH YOU HAVE ACCEPTED DESPITE THE CLEAR TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE TO THE CONTRARY. The Bible clearly teaches that Israel would possess the Land only to the degree that they walked with their God. ( DEUT4:25-26, DEUT 28:45,46,47,48, 63. Deut. 29: 22-28, Josh.23:11-16.) .These are but a few verses that show that Israels promise of receiving and keeping the land was CONDITIONAL upon them obeying God. We know that Israel lost the land as they had broken the covenant with God. However, the remnant returned from captivity and Gods plan for His Messiah was accomplished through our Lord Jesus Christ at Calvary as He had promised to Abraham. God never broke His Covenant with His people, Israel, from the cross onward salvation is open to ALL PEOPLES AND NATIONS, THROUGH FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. With regards to Abraham, he never did own a piece of this land that God promised to Him. The Holy Spirit has shown us, that he had to buy a piece of this land to bury his dead.( GEN 25: 9-10). Does this not seem strange to you Alan, considering God had promised him this land ?. Abraham was not looking for a piece of real estate on the meditterannean as Gods promise to him , He dwelt in tents as in a foreign land. He was looking for a city which has foundations whose architect and builder is God . ( HEB.11:9-10.). The city Abraham was looking for is the heavenly Jerusalem, Mount Zion, the city of the living God. ALL BORN-AGAIN BELIEVERS ARE NOW RESIDENTS OF THIS CITY . HEB. 12:22. " But you have come to mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels ". EPHES. 2:6, " and raised us up with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus. ". There is no sense going any further to discuss the rest of your response as you have started out in the wrong direction . Please try and refrain from calling brothers and sisters in Christ, Jew haters, and such as we sincerly desire you to be liberated from the bondage you are unaware you are entrapped by. Eternal Father we ask collectivelly that You and only You would grant Alan to see clearly the true meaning of your written word according to your lovingkindness. Thank You Lord Jesus Christ.
