:-) I know some people would like recommend- but I really do think it is corrosive to good discussion. Some people could not help themselves, and would preen over their recommendations. Others, to find friends, would slavishly recommend buddies' posts. And yet others, who have very good ideas and posts, would be hurt if people did not recommend theirs- especially people who do not post often. It's a very childish thing to have on a site with adults (adults who often act like children).
