The election of 2012 was supposed to be a big Wake Up Call to the Republicans but apparently they didn't read the memo.

They still equate winning House seats to General Election popularity.

It may be quite a while before Republicans elect another President.

And those House seats will start slipping away too. Even the reddest of districts can't avoid the onslaught of demographic diversity.

Eventually they will realize that they need to move to the left or face extinction.
