you think anyone would go to north dakota what for their lousy 10000 votes when they could go to one block in NY City and get 20000. The candidates would never leave the 10 major cities in the US

What in the world would cause these red states to give up their say in the presidential election? You'd have to be nuts to support that. And it requires a vote by 38 states to approve such a change.

New Hampshire was a serious battleground state in 2016 -- Trump was going there every day or two during the last couple weeks of the race.

But no one went to NY or California or Illinois, because those outcomes were predetermined. And Trump was ridiculed for going to rust-belt states since they were "long shots" for him.

If he goes on to become an excellent president, which I believe he will, it could change the entire political picture for a while, though. IMO. The news channels lost all credibility. The idea that a billion dollars with which to buy negative ads can destroy any candidate is gone.

This was a battle between Clinton's real baggage and Trump's imagined baggage.
