Good thinking! The only problem is that SI's search engine is not sophisticated enough to handle instructions for finding a sequence of words. For example, I tried to find misuses of advise/advice my typing in "my advise" (including the quotes). The message I got was "Quotes and Exact Phrases are not supported at this time." Oh well.

Now that I think of it, I would guess that their/there is far more prevalent a problem than any other similar word combination. But I still believe "believe" is #1 in the pure spelling mistake category.
