Jay, >>>I love this company and have lost a small fortune on its stock price.<<<

I'm sorry to have acted like a smartass - I didn't mean it.

As far as I am concerned, I don't really have a clue as two where Intel will be six months from now. It could just as easily be at 50 as it is to be 100. Either way, I'm going to stick with it. I truly believe the PC market penetration will reach the 80% level in the USA. As to when - I haven't a clue.

I just can't imaging any parent allowing thier kid(s) to grow up without a PC - and pretty soon baby boomers and post boomers will find it difficult to exist without having email access to communicate with friends and relatives and or internet access for immediate update on news that is specific to their own needs - whether it is financial, local news, or esoteric subjects that have small audiences.

Looking at it another way - where is the best place for me to invest in and what is its specific advantage? There is probably at this time no better place for my money than in the USA. And, technology is where this country is most competitive. If all this is true than Intel seem s to be a logical choice for me to invest some of my money. - But, who knows? Anything can happen.

I hope thinks work out a lot better for you in the new year.

Best Regards,

Mary
