Toothdock,

I am terrribly sorry to hear of your father's passing. For whatever comfort it may bring, he is now free of this world's pains and darkness. Know that he took with him some of your light and those others close to him. We all live in the light of others love, and the only real shadows we make ourselves. Your concern for him when he went into the hospital, and then on the respirator shouted that love. The anger of your impending loss didn't release your pain. He brought light to your life as well. Take the peace of the moment when the last tear is shed. Remember him, honor his strength, live in his love for you. Hold that light always within you. For shadows quietly fall with a gently rising light.
