Both Bernie and Warren are to the left of FDR.

Here's the political current of the last decade. Not too many people have this nailed down in their minds eye. When Obama challenged Hillary, he ran to the left of Hillary. He articulated everything that the hard-core liberals like myself and the millennial's wanted to hear. I have heard a lot of liberals say that he did not run to the left of Hillary and they are dead wrong. He did. And I think I could prove it if someone would argue I am wrong.

But then, when he got elected he moved to the center. The way Richard Wolf recounts it in his book on Obama he ran an outside game against Hillary and then when he was elected he ran an inside game. It infuriated the liberals, but at the same time they did not want to challenge or insult the first black president. And he is a very dignified man. So although there was great discontent on the left, we all kept it under wraps out of respect for the African-American.

We do shit like that and is why they stick with us. Republicans make it hard for them to vote. Why would they go with them-lol?

And then into 2012, course we all had to go with Obama. That was no time for a useless fight. Then into 2016, the same left that had supported Obama eight years earlier rose up again only further to the left and in larger numbers. But Hillary had cemented an establishment wall that was pretty much impenetrable. She had been spending years doing favors for politicians and everybody owed her. She had almost all the super delegates. All the plutocrats knew her and everyone saw her by large as a great administrator who would push the country to the left but ever so gently. And everyone was fine with this-lol.

That was not good enough for the liberals and the millennial's though. They wanted Warren, but Warren wouldn't run and then Bernie Sanders just decided to run and when they heard him speak they agreed with everything he said. I agreed with everything he said-lol. So we hitched our wagon ot him. Bu tit was our doing , not his. That is an important distinction. We really fought a hard battle against Hillary. I voted for Bernie in my Democratic caucus and I would say 80% of the people in that caucus were for Bernie.

There were so few Hillary supporters that they counted them first just to get them out of the auditorium so there would be enough room to count all the Bernie people because there were so many.

This is the liberal current that is flowing through the Democratic Party and sooner or later it's going to have its way it's going to burst out and become the dominant current.

So warren and sanders are modern day FDR's, interesting take.

Where is Schumer and Pelosi decrying all this shit from trump?

Maybe you can answer the question, maybe not.
