In principle I agree - but it gets sticky as you encounter examples. I think this is one of those leave it to the states to work on for a while issues.

Yes, but it gets messy - what if a Muslim store owner decides that selling to infidels violates his "political" beliefs? Or a worker doesn't want to handle alcohol or pork products?
