Everyone knows Robert Reich is brilliant and one of the most honest peopel out there. It is like common knowledge. This guy is a saint. He also was a Rhodes scholar and his credentials are good enough to teach at UC Berkeley which has more Nobel prize winners than any university on earth. So I will trust him above somebody I don't know. But the real issue is, what you want to do? Establishment of Social Security did pull millions of people and mostly old women out of living in abject poverty and god only knows how many died of that poverty and how much suffering they endured. If you get rid of Social Security, what about all those people living on the edge that have only Social Security to rely on. As I told Tide glider, George W Bush pissed away $7 trillion on two stupid wars that are still going on and gigantic tax cuts for the rich because he said the government should not have too much money. Referring to Clinton's surpluses. How far do you think that $7 trillion could've gone to help Medicare and Social Security? Did you ever complain about the 7 trillion that he pissed away? I would bet not. You are a true believer. You never seem to give any thought to people and their suffering and how to help them. All you seem to want to do is vent your anger by pissing in the wind. I do not understand people who live like you do?
