>> It has to do with social theory. A society has the right to limit profit if it is needed by the society.

In our society that is decided by law. And as it turns out, when our law provides increased tax rates, there are harmful economic effects which make voters vote for other people. That's how this works.

We know that there is some point beyond which taxes cannot rise without causing a tax revolt. In particular, as young people come to understand the 15.3% of their income they're paying for SS and Medicare, and you try to take even more, they going to say, "No. GTF out of our lives." As they should.

Why should MY kids pay for your old age care? They shouldn't. They don't owe you shit. And their lives are going to be hard enough paying for the waste and inefficiency of a bloated assed government. And I don't expect your kids to pay for my care.

It isn't that I dislike you. I don't even know you. I recognize you are stupid. That much I can say. But you may be fine person. I hope you have what you need. But not at my expense.

If we come to a time where the country can afford health care for everyone I would favor it so long as government doesn't try to do it. Because they've never managed a health care program well. Ever.
