And there’s one moment of the Clinton campaign that stands above all others for its brilliance
— inviting pop singer Lady Gaga to deliver a rally speech a day before the election while she was dressed like a Nazi party member.

Best known for wearing Kermit the Frog dresses and writing such deep poetry as, “Let’s have some fun, this beat is sick / I wanna take a ride on your disco stick,” Lady Gaga was not an ideal choice for a rally speaker in America’s political climate. Especially, in a black fascist-esque outfit with a subtle red armband.

Her speech was full of such insightful lines as “Be in this moment, right now, with us, and fight for your future and the future of our children” and “”Hillary Clinton is made of steel! Hillary Clinton is unstoppable!”

The purpose of having Ms. Love Game in an SS uniform deliver an election eve speech is unclear, but several media outlets — which were apparently out to bring down Hillary — made sure to defend it.

The Huffington Post dismised concerns Gaga dressed up as a Nazi because… Michael Jackson once owned the jacket. Rolling Stone went so far as to praise the outfit as “stylish military-inspired garb.”

One wonders how Hillary survived such brutal coverage.

The whole Gaga affair reflected the Clinton campaign’s desperately pathetic attempt to win over millennial voters with any celebrity they could find — and that strategy failed miserably. Moreover, the wrenching optics of a millionaire pop singer, dressed in an outfit more fit for the Eastern Front, telling average Americans to live in the moment and vote for Hillary should’ve driven any political operative mad.

Except for the ones who still think white supremacy and the media refusing to follow Clinton’s exact orders won Trump the election.

Clinton lost because her campaign condescended to millions of citizens who felt the New America was leaving them behind. The celebrity surrogates didn’t help Hillary one bit.

Palmieri’s comments are just part of the refusal on the part of Democrats to do any soul-searching post-election and would rather keep blaming racism and Russia for everything wrong. It’s not like the journalists they have so much contempt for will tell them otherwise.

One wonders what Lady Gaga will dress up as when she’s campaigning for Cory Booker in 2020…
