The Gentiles were grafted into Abraham 2000 years ago. The conversion of the gentiles occured in the first century and then the fullness of the remanant of true Israel came into the the Church. The Christian are never called gentiles after the first century. The unbelivers are the gentiles--that includes both antichrist jews and antichrist non-Jews. It is modern antichrist Judaism that uses the words goy and gentile to attempt to demean and condemn the children of God. For the last 2000 years we have been living in the Age of the New Covenant and the glory of God's holy Christian Church.

Christians have been the Choosen People of God for the last 2000 years. It is only in recent Christian history that the confused protestant reformers have been foolishly to resurrect the old covenant and at the same time began calling antichrist Judaism God's choosen people and also began using the Jewish term gentile to refer to Christians.

The Old Testament word gentile refered to the pagan nonbeliveing nations. The word is totally inappropriate when used to address Christians.

It is modern Judaism and other non-Christians who are, strickly speaking, the modern pagans and gentiles.

Alan, This present dispensation of Grace was heralded in by our beloved apostle, Paul.

Ephesians 2:13-3:5
"13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace,
16 and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household,
20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
3:1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles--
2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God's grace that was given to me for you,
3 that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.
4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
5 which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets."

In this present dispensation of Grace the born again Jew and Gentile share the same blessings as God has put the Kingdom program on hold until His Second Coming.
At that time, Israel wil be, and will function as, 'the head of the nations.'
Isiah 61:6,7
"6 And you will be called priests of the LORD, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.

Israel will be acknowledged as the people blessed of the Lord.
Surely this nation is a wise and understanding people, for what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh to them."
Romans 15:
"8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God's truth, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs
9 so that the Gentiles may glorify God for his mercy, as it is written: "Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing hymns to your name."
10 Again, it says, "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people."
11 And again, "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and sing praises to him, all you peoples."
12 And again, Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will hope in him."
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
14 I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, complete in knowledge and competent to instruct one another.
15 I have written you quite boldly on some points, as if to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me
16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit."

Praise God for His love for all, that we as Gentiles, can be partakers in the promises made to the Jewish race.
James
