Thrustmaster sounds like a dog that a neigbour tried to push on me. The company was Jot-it software or something like that. I looked at the charts and it looked like a joke. Has anyone heard of Jot-it and what's your opinion?

RE: "Thrustmaster worries me" ?

I agree that 'worries/image' make a big difference in the value the market places on a company's stock.

But I feel I have done my homework, and am only suggesting that others might follow the research links I have provided and look more closely at them.

"...They cancelled a recent stock offering. " It looked to me as if the Asian Flu got to them.

"Why the offering in the first place" Their 71 year old founder wanted to cash out and the company is ready to move up to another level.

"I also worry about a company that comes out with a press release "Thrustmaster All the Rage with new 3D gizmo thingy". That's the form of English used in the world of Computer Gaming. Again I agree with you and its taken me a year of subscribing to 3-4 of those publications to feel comfortable with the lingo being used there.

"All the rage"? Is this how well-managed companies describe themselves?
That's exactly the point. And thank you for homing in on it. What is this 'Rage' they are referring to? How about the next "eagerly adopted fashion; a fad or craze" ?

They and everyone else trying to make a buck off the Internet are working like mad trying to get out in front of whatever it is that computer owners are going to 'Lust' for next. Isn't it Anyd Grove who says it is essential to keep pushing the techno-lust button as hard & fast as Intel can :)

Anyway, all I am suggesting is that at this price level, the market appears to have discounted our mutually-shared 'worries' already.
