Well, they're not quite my kinda stocks, but yes, if I had to take a position on that basket of stocks, I'd go long on it. But why buy so-so ETEC for pe 30 when you can get a much cooler AMAT for pe 20? Of course, trailing earnings never tell the complete story, and in order for Roger's strategy to pan out, all the people who haven't been paying attn to trailing pe up to now will suddenly start paying attention to nothing but trailing pe. Well, I guess it could happen. :-) What interests me more than Roger are Roger's fans -- the people who have been clicking on the "provocatively titled" thread, without knowing exactly what the short picks are, and putting it at #1 on Hot Subjects! Please, someone tell them that I have pressed them into service as my contra-indicator.
