Ivanka Summons Al Gore for Climate Change Chat ivanka-trumpDonald Trump has said that climate change is a hoax. His Democrat daughter (and prominent member of his transition team) doesn’t agree: Ivanka Trump is meeting Monday with climate change activist and former vice president Al Gore. The President-elect’s daughter, who reportedly wants to make global warming one of her signature issues, will meet with Gore at Trump Tower in Manhattan, according to transition spokesman Jason Miller. The former vice president will not be meeting with the president-elect today, said Miller, in a conference call with reporters on Monday morning. Miller would not elaborate on the contents of the meeting between Ivanka Trump and Gore. Ivanka has close ties to influential Democrats and she has supported causes traditionally more dear to the left than to conservatives.
