Here's another one - Intel introduced a FULL BLOWN 32 bit processor - the 80386 - in October, 1985.

It took Microsoft until mid 1993 to deliver Windows NT (v. 3.5) their FIRST 32 bit Operating System.

This took them only 8 years after the 80386 was introduced.
