The speculative money will eventually return. The past year was brutal for exploration plays. We do not need any more Bre-X's,Delgratia,or Timbuktu frauds. What could lead the greed back into the market is one Voisey Bay type of find. The diamond plays just might ignite a small fire into speculative money.Another source to stir up some excitement would be the small cap oil and gas outfits with one very high impact discovery(look at Petrobank on Friday up 50% with a significant gas discovery)Also there is more talk of the golds being oversold with takeover possibilities.Look for a consolidation in the gold and oil and gas sector. Some small cap energy companies are trading at 3x cash flow. The patient investor /speculator will be rewarded in 1998.
Thanks for the info on earlier financing.wws is a steal at these levels
In regards to Uranium,it is perceived to be a cleaner fuel than coal and may be encouraged to be used to lower carbon dioxide emissions
