The Department of Education is totally unneeded. States and local school boards can and should handle it. You bash the USA but your obsession with American politics shows you wish you were a citizen. You know, I actually know the name of Canada's head of state. Trudeau. I don't know his first name or the name of his party and you know what .. I don't even want to know. I have zero interest in other country's internal politics.
