"Korean currency plunges as debt blows out to $241bn">>

After this news was released, both the US and Korean markets responded positively believing that this would not pose a problem. <G>

RE: "Korean currency plunges as debt blows out to $241bn ... Is this finally it or is there another surprise next week?"

Can it really get much bigger, practically speaking, without total disintegration/bankruptcy?

By the way, I agree with the use of M3, per your previous post. I was unaware of the growth of M3 in recent weeks (did you say 18%?). I guess the Fed is telling us that the "Asian Flu" will hit U.S. bigtime, and they are "gunning" the economic engine to keep from stalling once it really hits.

Will the Fed be successful in their attempts to keep the economy ontrack?

Best wishes,
