David, thanks for the suggestion. This brings up another question for the group. Metastock's system tester is limited to one stock at a time. Given this limitation, my approach for testing systems has been to go back to a particular date in time, and run the Explorer to see what my system would have picked to buy. Then I eyeball the charts to see how accurate the system was. I repeat this approach for many different dates. This approach doesn't handle the exit strategy, but it seems to me to be a more rationale way of backtesting buys coming out of a system. Comments?
