So, do you guys figure it is better to just let the program collapse altogether?

A program designed when the average lifespan was the or twelve years less, which is in the final throes of reaching insolvency, and we should do what's been done for 25 years, which is kick it down the road?

You ought to be excited about the idea we are going to have a president who will give the program a shot at continued livelihood.

Republicans introduce bill to massively cut Social Security

Interesting. Wonder what happened to privatization. Has the House settled on this approach or are there still competing approaches in Congress? And was this coordinated with Trump? Apparently, introducing this bill went under the radar. The WaPo has no mention of it. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

(Always interesting to see early framing--"Reform" vs "cut.")
