How? Look at the voting of both parties. It is right down party lines every time. Few ever step out of line. And the do at their peril.

I am not making anything up they are my ideas. And most regulations are for the benefit of society.

And I am not contradicting myself. What is going on is that people are voting to give mostly Republicans the power to give the corporations power over us.

If you cannot see that Trump is doing this in spades, then I can understand why you wouldn't understand my post

overnment, is nothing more than our democracy at work. We have direct control over our government.<<<

You have stated that congress is not under our control and that it is because of corruption. So, you are contradicting yourself. Government working effectively to protect our freedoms is a result of our involvement and the power of the people. It is our right to dissolve any government or any part of government that violates that purpose.

<< I disagree that there is no way to force them to do anything otherwise.

This is a fundamental confusion on your part. Congress is made up of individuals who are held in trust by the oaths of office they take, which require them to serve us. If you, I, and the American people fail to hold them to that oath it is a simple failure on our parts. However, we have every right and ability to force them to perform their duties when we are up to it. It is tantamount to throwing in the towel on our government to assert otherwise.
