State and local election officials have all said they don't expect Ms. Clinton to surpass Mr. Trump in Wisconsin , where he won by about 22,000 votes. Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein was heckled and called a "common criminal" during a news conference outside Trump Tower on Monday as she continues the recount effort in Pennsylvania , Michigan and Wisconsin. Pennsylvania's top elections official, a Democrat, says there's no evidence of cyberattacks or voting irregularities. "This is yet another sign that Pennsylvania's antiquated election law is stacked against voters. There is no paper trail", Stein said in the complaint. Michigan's also the closest election of the three states in which Stein has filed recount demands. She also scheduled a rally and news conference today outside Trump Tower in NY. She has also mounted campaigns to recount the votes in MI and Wisconsin. Host Chris Wallace challenged Stein on the numbers, saying an election result change is beyond unlikely. Lawyers for the Green Party-backed voters who filed the case say they can't afford the $1 million bond ordered by the court by 5 p.m. Monday. Even if all three recounts happen, none were expected to give Clinton enough votes to emerge as the victor. Stein led a demonstration Monday at Trump Tower in New York City to highlight the recount process - publicly questioning why so many Republicans, including Trump's campaign, are actively fighting the notion of a recount. They warned that the December 13 federal deadline for Pennsylvania to certify its election is approaching, and missing it could delay the December 19 Electoral College vote and the inauguration of Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence. "The Pennsylvania election system is a national disgrace ", begins the suit filed by Stein and Randall Reitz in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Before the federal lawsuit filing, Green Party-backed voters were forced to withdraw her court case in a Pennsylvania state court on Saturday, reported CBS News . Trump's lawyers argued that because Stein didn't get more than 1% of the vote she was not "aggrieved" enough to request it. She also lost races for MA governor in 2002 and 2010, state representative in 2004 and MA secretary of state in 2006.
