I just feel more comfortable backtesting without hand feeding the system. Ideally you want to armed with a system that works (at least prevents you from loosing a lot) under a variety of condidtions. I really don't think WOW or MS have enough sophistication.. Maybe Q+ Rel 2 will be of help.. Many scans have great value such as breaking out of trading ranges and I also like a scan that checks for QRS itself on an uptrend. There are many... I haven't found much value to these so called 'systems'. I think that is why GET is as great as it is..It makes you look and think about what is going on in a security/market. You have to think.. You are 100% right a few days ago when you suggested everyone re-read O'Neils book..If you can be a good picker your TA doesn't have to be perfect. If I had been in the CPQ and DELL's it would have been a lot easier. Surely they were 'story' stocks..Future cloudy with Asia.. Dick.
