We can blow it to crap, 100 times over. Anger, fear and hatred are the emotions that might lead us to do that, emotions we see in animals as well as ourselves. So, we just can't afford to express some emotions anymore. You could say we're in a battle with our animal selves. Our technology has far outstripped safe expression of some of our emotions. Which wins will determine our future.
