The other question is who is keeping the secrets and who owns the secrets. It would seem they were not the right sort to be keeping secrets and those secrets ultimately belong to the American people. Of course the gate-keepers don't see it that way and think they can use secrets to control and manipulate events. When exposed it makes the machinery behind the secrets-curtain look ridiculous. The secrets-intelligentsia will make it very difficult for anyone that exposes their emails. I for one have no interest whatsoever in what type of beer Angela Merkel thinks goes best with Bratwurst.
